Mobily, the Mobile company cuts rate of calls to Bangladesh

Mobily, the new mobile phone service provider in Saudi Arabia has further reduced its international call rates from Wednesday.

Calls rates to Bangladesh, Pakistan and India have been slashed to SR 1.90 per minute while calls to Egypt reduced to SR 1.70. Calls to United States and United Kingdom will be SR 1.80 and 2.30 per minute respectively. Philippines will be 2.30 per minute, according to the Arab News.

The new rate is applicable for customers who register their favourite international numbers. "The rate is applicable at all times throughout the week," Humoud Al Ghobaini, Chief of Corporate Communications of Mobily said.

He said that the calls are being charged by seconds not by minutes. By applying this new tariff, he said the company is providing a variety of choices to all segments of the market. Mobily has signed an agreement for international roaming with more than 255 mobile operators in 150 countries. The new additions include Macau, Luxembourg, Denmark and Columbia.
